Texas Hospital Association’s HOSPAC Endorses Sarah Davis

The Texas Hospital Association’s HOSPAC endorses Rep. Sarah Davis for the 2016 primary.

Three-term Texas House Representative, Sarah Davis, announced today that she has received the Texas Hospital Association’s HOSPAC endorsement for the 2016 primary.

"I am honored to be endorsed by HOSPAC,” said Davis. “I have made access to high quality, affordable care a chief priority. I am proud to represent the best providers of care in Texas, including the Texas Medical Center.”

HOSPAC is the bipartisan political action committee of the Texas Hospital Association (THA). THA staff spent the last several months examining hundreds of candidates and soliciting feedback from local hospital leaders to determine which candidates are worthy for their prestigious endorsement.

"Healthcare will continue to be a major issue in Austin, and I will continue to advocate for better access to care, protecting the sanctity of the doctor-patient relationship, and investing in life-saving care and procedures," said Davis.

Sarah Davis has served in the Texas House of Representative since 2011, representing West University Place, Bellaire, River Oaks, Braeswood Place, Meyerland, Southside Place, parts of Montrose, and the Texas Medical Center. She currently serves on the Appropriations, Calendars, Public Health, and General Investigating and Ethics Committees, and Chairs the Appropriations Sub-committee on Budget Transparency and Reform for the 84th Texas Legislative Session. She was recently named to the House Select Committee on Mental Health.
