WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE – State Rep. Sarah Davis today announced the endorsement of the Texas Association of Business BAC-PAC, the state’s largest business group.

“Employers know the importance of electing leaders who are committed to controlling taxes and spending, and creating opportunity,” said Rep. Davis.

“It is an honor to be endorsed by business leaders who have helped make Texas the number one state for job creation,” said Davis. “As a fiscal conservative, I will continue to fight for lower taxes, less government spending and a regulatory climate that encourages employers to create jobs.”

Rep. Davis has twice been recognized by the Texas Association of Business as a “Fighter for Free Enterprise” for her consistent support of legislation that promotes economic growth and job creation.

First elected in 2010, Rep. Davis currently serves on the Appropriations, Public Health and Calendars committees and as Secretary of the Women’s Health Caucus. She is a breast cancer survivor and lives with her husband in the City of West University Place.

Founded in 1922, the Texas Association of Business is a broad-based, bipartisan organization representing more than 3,000 small and large Texas employers and 200 local chambers of commerce.
